Job Summary:

Qualifications:
- Minimum High School diploma or equivalent
- Whether you are experienced or new to caregiving - we will train you!
- Knowledge of home health care preferred
- Previous caregiver or companion experience a plus
- Certification in CPR and First Aid preferred
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable
- Ability to follow care plans and communicate well with clients and team members
Essential Functions (Experience Preferred – Full Training and Support Provided):

Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs):
- Provide support with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation.

Medication Reminders:
- Prompt clients to take medication on schedule
- Support safe adherence to medication routines

Meal Preparation and Nutrition:
- Plan and prepare, or assist with, meals per dietary requirements.
- Monitor and encourage proper nutrition and hydration.

Companionship and Social Interaction:
- Offer conversation and emotional support.
- Accompany clients to appointments and activities.

Health Monitoring & Documentation:
- Observe and report changes in client's health status to the care team.
- Document care provided and any notable observations.

Working Environment:
Private homes, medical facilities, rehab centers, and long-term care settings
Position Physical Demands:
- Assisting with mobility and safe patient handling
- Lifting / transferring up to 35 lbs with assistance or equipment
- Prolonged standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stair navigation
